A 55-year-old woman was killed while her son seriously injured Friday after their motorcycle was hit by a private mini bus at Chandigarh Chowk here, police said.
The deceased were identified as Balwinder Kaur and Harpeet Ram (25), residents of Malpur Arkan area here.
Ram was trying to take a U-turn at the divider when a mini bus hit his vehicle from behind, they said.
The injured was admitted to a private hospital here, they said, adding a case has been registered.
