The victim, identified as Shalini, was killed and her neighbour Jitendra Yadav (20) injured when the motorcycle they were riding was hit by a truck, police said today.
They were going to see her father who was admitted to a hospital in Varanasi.
On getting the news of Shalini's death, her father Nathuni Ram (66), a retired Naib Tehsildar, died of cardiac arrest.
