"I boarded Air India flight AI-191 to Newark from Ahmedabad on January 31 with three suite cases. But when I landed at Newark airport on February, baggage, not only mine, but those of other passengers, were missing," said Smita Joshi, who says she is a cancer patient who lives in the US.
The complaint was filed at Air India's baggage service centre in Newark on February 1, Joshi told PTI today over phone.
Alleging that the airline staff did not pay any attention to her complaint despite repeated request to locate the baggage she said, "I have written to Prime Minister Modi to bring to his notice the incident. I have requested him to direct the Air India staff to be more pro-active in helping the passengers, suffering due to their lapses.
