Police said Nazeema, a native ofParappanangadi in Malappuram district, fled from the centre at Kuthiravattamin the city by bending the window grills around 4.30 AM.
She is an accused in more than 10 cases in Kerala, most of them pertaining to cheating, they said, adding, this is thesecond time she made an escape bid from the centre.
She was convicted in two cases -- cheating by impersonation and dishonestly inducing delivery of property, police said.
She was traced to a lodge in Kochi and nabbed on September 22.
Nazeema was moved to the centre on June 11, 2015 on a direction from the Malappuram chief judicial magistrate court.
