Woman raped by lover in Rajasthan

A 22-year-old married woman was allegedly raped by her boyfriend, who recorded the act on a camera and used the video to blackmail her at Sanganer area here, police said today.
The woman, who was staying with her parents, after she was separated from her husband, developed intimacy with Netaram Raigar (22), a student living as a tenant at her parents' home, police said.
The woman moved a court yesterday alleging that she was raped by her lover. The court directed the police to lodge an FIR against the accused under section 376 (rape) of IPC.
The victim in her complaint to the police alleged that the accused raped her for last two-and-a-half years and also blackmailed her using an obscene video clip he made of the act, police said.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the woman wanted to marry Netaram but his parents refused as she was already married, they said, adding that to take revenge, she probably lodged the case.
"Victim's statement would be recorded first and then an action would be taken against the accused," police said.
