According to the compliant filed by the woman with the police, she has alleged that the tantrik, Dwarkadas, raped her when her husband had gone to a far-off place to perform a ritual on the directions of the accused.
The woman, along with her husband, had come to Dwarkadas to cure her ailment, police said.
After performing wicca (treatment through witchcraft), the husband was asked by the tantrik to abandon some articles used during worship to a far-off place, they said.
She narrated the incident to her husband when he returned from the place, following which they approached the police and registered a complaint against the accused, they said.
Dwarkadas is absconding since then but police is on a hunt for him, SP City Sravan Kumar Singh said.
