The woman, identified as Matyam, her 23-year-old son Mohsin, and two others were arrested last evening for murder of Maherban, Shahpur police station SHO Ajaipal Gautam said.
Maherban, who had been missing since January 9, was allegedly strangulated to death and his body dumped in a canal by the accused over family dispute, he said.
Gautam claimed that the accused have confessed to the crime.
They were yesterday produced before Chief Judicial Magistrate Sunder lal who sent them to judicial custody till February 2, the SHO said.
