Woody Allen addresses allegations of sexual abuse

Director Woody Allen says he is no longer interested in the allegations of sexual abuse levelled against him.
The director was accused by his former partner Mia Farrow of abusing their adopted daughter in 1993 during their split following his affair with Farrow's other adopted daughter Soon-Yi Previn.
Allen went on to marry Previn in 1997 while Farrow was awarded custody of the couple's three children.
The director, 80, who was investigated but not charged with molestation, has for decades denied abusing the child, maintaining that Farrow, 69, coached Dylan, which Farrow has denied.
In an interview with the Guardian, Allen reiterated his position.

"I have no interest in all of that. I find that all tabloid stupidity. That situation had been thoroughly, thoroughly investigated up and down the line by New York social services in a 14-month investigation.

"It had been investigated by Yale and conclusions were clear and I have no interest in that whole situation. I get harassed all the time on it. But it doesn't affect me and I just have no interest in it," he said.
Allen's biological son Ronan Farrow and his adopted daughter with Farrow have often slammed Hollywood for working with the director
The director is now reconciled with his other adopted son Moses but he remains estranged from Dylan and Ronan.

Farrow, meanwhile, has hinted Ronan is actually Frank Sinatra's son).
When asked whether the whole thing altered his view of the world?, Allen said, "No, no. It confirmed all my misanthropic feelings.
