Work for country's welfare: Badal to political parties

Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal today asked all political parties to sink their differences and work cohesively to solve major problems faced by the country.
Rising above vested interests, political parties across the board should sink their differences and unite for the public cause, he said after inaugurating 'Elders Retreat Home' here.
He said that it was the need of the hour to work in unison manner for ensuring the progress of the country.
Politics of vendetta was not in the interest of any person or country, the chief minister said.
