Joshi also said that stigma of corruption attached with Congress in the two states led to its rout.
"Congress suffered defeat because of one family's corruption. Both, Robert Vadra and Hooda's families were involved in corruption in Haryana," he told reporters.
In Maharashtra also, major scams done by Congress leaders led to its defeat, he said.
Joshi congratulated party members for the win in the two states and said that the "sole reason for the victory was the contribution of the workers at the ground zero."
"A leader gives the direction but it is the dedication of the workers at the ground level who makes the victory possible," he said.
Joshi also addressed the issue of the long-pending salaries of the workers of Lal Imli textile mill here.
"We have spoken to the Textile Ministry and pending salaries will be released before Diwali," he said.
