Workers in all sector should get bonus before Deepavali:CITU

CITU today urged the district administration and Labour department to see to it that the industries in the region, be it MSME or large ones, paid bonus to its workers before Deepavali, which falls on November 10.
A CITU release said today thousands of workers in textile mills and plantations in Valparai, were awaiting bonus money to celebrate the festival.
The district administration and labour department should monitor the disbursement of bonus to the workers well ahead of Deepavali, it added.
