The workers of 23 Hot Re-Rolling Steel Plant were agitating for the last 22 days, accusing their management of not complying with the provisions of the labour laws.
They workers were represented by Garam Rola Mazdoor Ekta Samiti.
The officers of the Labour Department in supervision of Joint Labour Commissioner K R Verma and Deputy Labour Commissioner (North-West district) U K Sinha had taken cognisance of the matter and after a prolonged conciliation proceeding, a settlement was made between the representatives of the management and the workers, a statement by the labour department said today.
The management agreed to comply with all the statutory provisions under the labour laws and the workmen agreed to join their duty.
