"Labour Department is organising regular workshops on occupational safety and health, in association with Industrial Association. Experiences and best practices in industrial safety and health are being discussed," said Labour Commissioner Jitendra Narain.
He said that in addition to it, all district heads of Labour Department shall also be organising interface meetings with trade unions of their respective districts to discuss effective implementation of labour laws for betterment of workers.
He said the department has redressed 103 disputes/ complaints of worker/public received in the department from December 1 to December 5.
The labour department has disbursed an amount of Rs 49,01,182 under various labour laws, benefiting 98 workers from December 1 to December 5.
