Lisa Haydon struck up a friendship with Jacqueline Fernandez and Nargis Fakhri while shooting their upcoming film "Housefull 3" and the actress hopes some director makes "Charlie's Angels" with the trio.
The 29-year-old "Queen" actress said she really loved the idea of starring in a film with Jacqueline and Nargis and that was one of reasons she said yes to the Sajid-Farhad-directed comedy.
"I thought casting Jacqueline, Nargis and me in a film was very interesting. We all got along very well much to the dismay of our director and co-actors. We were constantly chatting. Abhishek (Bachchan) coined a term for us - the gaggles. We just could not stop talking. I really hope they make 'Charlie's Angels' with us someday," Lisa told PTI.
The model-turned-actress says she had no apprehension on sharing screen with two other actress' as she believes in only competing with herself when it comes to her career.
When asked if she was worried about being overshadowed by others in the multi-starrer, Lisa said, "I don't think like that at all. I actually relished doing a film with Jacqueline and Nargis and sharing screen with them.
"I think it is important that you compete with yourself. One should only focus on their characters when doing a multi-starrer."
"Housefull 3", the third installment of the "Housefull" series, also stars franchise regulars Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh. Abhishek, Nargis and Lisa are new additions to the latest movie, while Jacqueline featured in the second films. The film will hit theatres on June 3.
"We all had a great chemistry. While working on a comedy film, it is important for everybody to have a good time."
"Housefull 3" is Lisa's first release after two years - her last film was "The Shaukeens" in 2014. The actress says she does not want to be a part of the numbers game and would rather prefer to do films which appeal to her most.
"I choose films on the basis of what I feel is right for me. I love my work. I can't do multiple films a year. I would love to do more films because I love acting. But it is not a numbers game for me. I like to do things that I am passionate about."
Lisa received widespread acclaim for her quirky role in Kangana Ranaut-starrer "Queen" and the actress says she is very satisfied with the way her career has shaped post the film as people have realised that she can act.
"I am happy with my career decisions. I love the way my career has gone. I am happy with the work I am doing. 'Queen' was a break and it helped me to get me out of the modelling background phase. People realised I can act.
