Yajurvedi new chairman of Ordnance Factory Board

V P Yajurvedi today took the charge as the chairman of the Ordnance Factory Board, an official statement said.
Yajurvedi, from the Indian Ordnance Factories Service (IOFS), has taken over as officiating charge of the post of Director General Ordnance Factories (DGOF) and its Chairman with effect from August 1.
Earlier, he led the procurement and material management division of OFB as Additional DGOF and member of OFB.
Yajurvedi had joined Indian Ordnance Factories in 1978 after a masters in electrical engineering and also has an MBA in material management.
