Yes Bank raises Rs 5,415 crore via bonds

Private sector lender Yes Bank today raised Rs 5,415 crore through bonds to fund business expansion.
The bank has issued and alloted Basel III compliant Additional Tier I Bonds through private placement for an aggregate amount of Rs 5,415 crore, Yes Bank said in a regulatory filing.
The bank would offer coupon rate of 9 per cent, it said.

DHFL Pramerica Life Insurance today posted a 139 per cent increase in net profit at Rs 46.8 crore for the first half of the fiscal ended September 30.

The company had earned a net profit of Rs 19.6 crore in the same period a year ago, DHFL Pramerica Life said in a statement.
During the period under review, the new business premium of the company rose to Rs 647 crore, it said.
