The 52-year-old star announced on June 15 that she was leaving the programme and it has now been claimed she decided to leave after show producers told her she would no longer be a main housewife, reported Entertainment Tonight.
Sources say that Yolanda then told bosses she would only stay if she could remain a main housewife, which they declined.
The insider stressed there is no ill feeling between Yolanda, network Bravo or the show's production team.
