A boy and a girl, who eloped recently, committed suicide early today in Sirohi district of Rajasthan, police said.
While Ashok Kumar (22) climbed a transmission tower and came in contact with a high tension electricity wire, Dariya Kumari (19) jumped into a well and ended her life, police said.
Both of them were resident of Deldar village. Postmortem is being conducted and the matter will be probed, Sub-Inspector Sabba Ram said.
