The three-day fashion event will open with 'Fashion Startups of India'.
The opening show will showcase the collection of eight designers out of thirty young designers of the previous seasons of India Runway Week who participated under "Newgen" category. All these designers are under 30.
This season IRW will launch its 4th batch of 10 Newgen designers who have been chosen from more than 175 applications around India.
"The number of shows on view has raised by 14 to 16, led by new talents, and with few senior designers like Rajdeep Ranawat, Agnimitra Paul from whom these young designers can learn a lot," said Kiran Kheva, the fashion director of India Runway Week.
