Hip-hop star Young Jeezy has emerged victorious after beating a lawsuit from a man who maintains he is responsible for his rise to fame.
Ellerbee Demetrius claimed he deserved a USD 5 million pay out from the hip-hop star after reportedly working with Jeezy from 1995 to help launch his music career, reported TMZ.
The plaintiff alleged he was owed money from at least four of the rapper's albums, even though Jeezy denied ever signing any deals with Demetrius.
The case went to trial in an Atlanta, Georgia court, but the jury ruled against Demetrius.
