A 25-year-old woman committed suicide in Haryana's Charkhi Dadri area by hanging herself from a ceiling fan at her residence, police said today.
Police have registered a case against a youth on the complaint of the victim's parents after she took the extreme step yesterday.
"We have registered a case of abetment to suicide against a youth. The 25-year-old woman's parents in their complaint have alleged that the victim and the youth had some altercation after which she killed herself," Charkhi Dadri SP Himanshu Garg said.
Preliminary investigations were on, he said.
