Youth arrested for kidnapping cousin

A kidnapped boy was rescued and his elder cousin arrested in Nawada district of Bihar today for plotting the whole exercise and demanding Rs 35,000 as ransom from his uncle.
Nawada Superintendent of Police (SP) Parvez Akhtar said the arrested youth has been identified as Ajit Kumar of Kaithir village under Hisua police station of the area.
Ajit had kidnapped his three-year-old cousin Ankit Kumar on Monday and demanded Rs 35,000 from the child's father Rajesh Kumar who is uncle for the release, the SP said.
He held the boy captive at Rajgir and was making ransom demands from there, Akhtar said.

The SP said after an FIR was registered in this connection, police tracked the culprit through mobile towers.
Ajit told interrogators he staged the operation to make a music album.
