Youth booked for trying to rape teenager

A youth has been booked for allegedly trying to rape a 14-year-old girl in Dhakori village here, police said today.
According to a complaint filed by the girl's father, the accused identified as Pappu entered their house when the victim was alone and tried to rape her, they said.
When the girl shouted and attracted few neighbours' attention, the accused fled from the spot, the complaint said.
A case has been registered against the youth and efforts are on to nab him, police said.
