Youth dies after falling from local train in Mumbai

A college student, who was standing on a foot-board of a local train, died after being hit by a signal post and falling off the speeding train here, official said today.
The victim, identified as Pravin Druv (20), boarded a train at Goregaon station yesterday. He was standing on the foot-board of the train, the Railway official said.
As the train gathered speed, the youth fell from the train after being hit by a signal post, he said.
He was rushed to a hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries last night, he added.
