The police said Pallab Roy (19), died on the spot at a place behind Krishnaganj Hospital, this evening when lightning struck him as he was speaking on his mobile phone.
A resident of Satyanagar in Krishnaganj police station, Roy was a first year student of English honours in Sudhir Ranjan Lahiri College.
