District and sessions judge Ramesh Jain also imposed a fine of Rs 11,000 on Ompal, after finding him guilty of raping a 14-year-old girl of his village Bahadurpur.
However, another accused Manjit, resident of Agwanpura of Sonipat district is still absconding, prosecution said.
Both the accused had taken the girl to a veterinary hospital, where incident took place, prosecution said, adding, her father was badly beaten by the accused and was given threat of dire consequences if he files a case against them.
Following the complaint by victim's father, Ompal was arrested while Manjit fled after the incident, police said.
