The 19-year-old college student was raped sometime in August by the accused Bunty, who was apprehended on Sunday evening from Mandawali in East Delhi, they said.
According to the girl's statement, Bunty had raped her in August after he took her to a hotel in Ghaziabad. He threatened her of dire consequences after the assault due to which she remained silent, police said.
On Sunday, the victim resisted another rape attempt by the accused, after which he allegedly beat her up in public, they said adding passerby handed him over to the police.
