Youth kills uncle, injures grandmother in property dispute

A youth allegedly stabbed his 45-year-old uncle to death and severely injured his grandmother during a fight over property dispute here, police said today.
An argument broke out over division of property between the accused and his uncle at his house in Nayapura area of the city late last evening, Nayapura police station Circle In-charge Ramkhiladi Meena said.
In a fit of rage, Monu (26) attacked his uncle Mahendra Singh Rajput with a sharp knife, killing him on the spot and also attacked his grandmother Kamlabai (65) who had attempted to mediate in the fight, Meena said.
Kamalabai, who received severe injuries, is undergoing treatment at a hospital, he said, adding that Monu is absconding.

Police has lodged a case against the accused under several sections of IPC.
