Adnan, brother-in-law of Samajwadi Party city president Rashid Siddiqui, and Tahiruddin harassed the girls following which they reached the police station, along with their family members and others, and lodged a complaint, they said.
On the basis of the complaint, the accused were booked under section 354 (Assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty) of IPC, police said.
The duo were then arrested, they said, adding supporters of the accused also gathered at the police station protesting the arrest.
