The protests were organised in 663 mandals in 13 districts of the state as per the call given by YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
"Farmers, women, weavers, pensioners, students, families of the cyclone-affected families have participated in the state-wide dharna programmes in large numbers to vent their ire and disappointment against the TDP Government which did not waive the farm and DWACRA loans while the cyclone hit north coastal Andhra has been reeling under severe apathy from the official machinery," YSRC senior leader Ummareddy Venkateswarlu told reporters here.
The YSRC president had said here yesterday that the protests would be intensified with similar protests being organised next month.
Jaganmohan Reddy would observe a fast in January in protest against the TDP government.
