"The biggest thing for me is Gambhir's support. He has handled me really well. I had never felt that I was going through a difficult patch. I was always relaxed. The team and the support staff backed me very well," Yusuf said after striking an unbeaten 49 last night.
"The big thing for me is that I've a brother like Irfan, captain like Gambhir who has always supported me. My family understands the game and has always backed me."
"It feels good to finish well, especially when you play alongside a legend like Jacques Kallis. When I was playing aggressive, he kept guiding me," he said.
Stranded on 49, he missed a half-century but Yusuf said, "I'm more satisfied as I could win the match. 50 will come in some other matches. It's just a number for individual achievement.
"But it was very important to win the match. It was more satisfying to remain 49 not out and win the match for my team.
