Pakistan is committed to finding a "just and peaceful" resolution of the Kashmir issue in line with the wishes of the Kashmiris, outgoing President Asif Ali Zardari said today.
Zardari, whose five-year term ends in two days, said Pakistan will continue to extend political, moral and diplomatic support to Kashmiris.
He made the remarks while speaking to a 35-member delegation of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference at President's House.
Pakistan-occupied Kashmir "prime minister" Chaudhry Abdul Majeed was present during the meeting.
Zardari praised the Hurriyat leadership's efforts for highlighting the case of Kashmiri poeple at international forums, an official statement said.
