Zayn Malik has lashed out at his former One Direction bandmate Louis Tomlinson on Twitter.
The singer, who quit One Direction in March, sent a rare tweet to Tomlinson in defence of his producer friend Naughty Boy as the pair became embroiled in yet another war of words on the social networking site.
Malik, 22, shocked fans after telling Louis to stop making comments about his life now that he is no longer a member of the chart-topping boyband.
Louis then wrote: "Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha ! Some people still do HA!"
Malik then replied directly to Louis, saying: "Remember when you had a life..?"
Boy, who has been working with Malik, also had his own back-and-forth row with Louis on the social network.
Boy shared an image of himself and Malik working in the studio, prompting Louis to tweet about the snap.
Louis accused Boy of being "inconsiderate" to fans after he posted the link.
A song featuring Malik without the rest of One Direction was also taken down, less than a day after it was shared on Soundcloud.
Boy tweeted a link to the track, with the words "let the music do the talking" - less than a week after Malik revealed he was leaving One Direction.
