An elated Goa FC coach Zico said, "It is a feeling of mission accomplished that we worked very hard. I thank the players because I trust in their work. Because what we passed through in the first phase may be few people expected that we could reach this far. The proof is that we have worked hard to reach this position."
On the other hand, giving reasons for team's loss, Chennaiyin assistant coach Vivek Nagul said, "We have lot of injuries and so we have to rotate the players. Considering the two yellow cards in the first 15 minutes of play, was the main reason. It was our hard luck. It is may be the final call for us to wake up. We need to play precise and constantly aggressive.
As far as the next match, our defence and midfield would be strengthened, Nagul said, "Nesta would be available and Marco would return from Bangkok and Elano would also join the squad. We will bounce back. Perhaps our loss to Goa is a pinch for us to pick up."
Answering a question on the Indian players', Mandar and Narayan Das', solid performances today, Zico said, "I always try to give the Indian players a bit of my experience as a football player and as a coach. They listen to us and doing what I teach them and so you have seen improved performance from them.
