Zinc weakens on subdued demand

In restricted activity, zinc prices eased by Re 1 per kg at the non-ferrous metal market today due to slackened demand from consuming industries amid a weak global trend.
However, other base metals traded in a narrow range in limited deals and settled at last levels.
Traders said sluggish demand from consuming industries and a reports of a weakening global trend mainly led to decline in zinc prices.
In the national capital, zinc ingot shed Re 1 at Rs 110-116 per kg.

Lead ingot Rs 104, Lead imported Rs 105, Aluminium ingots Rs 154, Aluminium sheet cutting Rs 155, Aluminium wire scrap Rs 157 and Aluminium utensils scrap Rs 154.
