China central bank governor: no basis for yuan to keep depreciating

BEIJING (Reuters) - There is no basis for the yuan to keep depreciating, Chinese central bank governor Zhou Xiaochuan said in an interview carried in the Chinese financial magazine Caixin on Saturday.

The yuan is basically stable against a basket of currencies and cross-border capital flows are in a normal range, Zhou said.
