Reuters Market Eye - The Nifty was trading in positive territory on Friday, bouncing back after closing in the red in the previous session. The 50-share index was up 0.14 percent as of 10.22 a.m.
Software stocks gained on continued hopes of better business in the U.S. and Europe on recent positive macro data.
Infosys was up 1.1 percent while Tata Consultancy Services gained 0.92 percent.
Blue chips also gained on value buying after recent falls.
ICICI Bank was up 0.02 percent after falling 1.7 percent in previous three sessions.
Next on watch, U.S. jobs data scheduled later in the day.
