Trade deficit narrows to $13.35 bn in October

Gold imports jump to $4.17 bn from $1.09 bn a year ago

India's trade deficit narrowed to $13.35 billion in October on lower oil imports, government data showed on Monday.

The deficit stood at $14.25 billion in September.

On a year-on-year basis, the trade deficit rose from $10.59 bn a year ago.

Gold imports jumped to $4.17 bn from $1.09 bn a year ago.
