Apple Introduces Applevision 850 Display

The Applevision 850 is a colour display aimed squarely at professionals who rely on visual performance and colour accuracy, as well as for users of spreadsheet and page layout applications who require large displays capable of high resolutions.

With Applevision 850, the Indian professional with stringent quality requirements is getting the best in consistency, accuracy and quality, says RK Gupta, MD, Apple Computer India.

The display incorporates Apples battle-tested DigiColor technology state-of-the-art colour accuracy, achieved through a patented internal calibration system that adjusts colour over time with minimal user interaction. The display also supports Apples ColorSync technology for colour matching across multiple devices such as colour printers, scanners by allowing display profiles to be created on the fly.

The AppleVision 850 comes into its own on PowerMacs. On the top-end PowerMacs, it can provide superior graphics performance, image quality, colour accuracy and industrial design.

The AppleVision features a 20-inch Sony Trinitron tube with an anti-reflection screen coating, a maximum resolution of up to 1600 X 1200 pixels at 75 Hz and AppleVision software for the Mac OS.
