Compudyne Winfosystems Ltd (CWL) has achieved a sales turnover of Rs 643.48 lakh for the year ended 31 March 2000, registering a growth of 267% over last year, and a net profit of Rs 195.94 lakh compared to Rs 37.23 lakh in the previus year (up 426%), CWL's main focus area of e-commerce/e-business contributed over 60% of the total revenue and the remaining came from multimedia activities. It has got an order worth 2 million for building an e-commerce portal site on B2B model from a leading US software company. The company's chairman and managing director, S S Dahaiya, announced that the board of directors has recommended a dividend of 15% in the meeting held on 29 April 2000.
