After being shadowed by the Intelligence Bureau (IB) sleuths recently, Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials now apprehend being put under the magnifying glass by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
Enforcement director M K Bezbaruah has decided to formally write to the home ministry to draw its attention to the negative effects of such surveillance, revenue department officials said.
The letter will outline the negative impact of the surveillance on the morale of the ED officials.
Key directorate officials had come under IB surveillance, ordered by the finance ministry, for allegedly leaking to the media information regarding some of the cases.
