Eicher Ltd is setting up a new assembly line-cum-manufacturing facility for its two wheelers in Jaipur.

The plant, to be set up at an estimated cost of Rs 100 crore, will assemble 2,000 to 3,000 units monthly. It will initially assemble the Enfield Bullet range but will manufacture other models developed inhouse by the company at a later date.

Besides, if Eicher's plans to form a joint venture in the two-wheeler segment materialises, the new joint venture company's manufacturing facilities too will be established in Jaipur, sources said.
