Starting way change as a mere spray tower to the latest induced draft (ID) cooling towers, cooling tower industry has undergone a sea change in many constructional features.

Initially timber was used as the main construction material for cooling towers, of late RCC and FRP are being extensively used as material construction for cooling towers in place of timber. Besides PVC is also being extensively used for cooling tower packing in place of timber splash bars.

Aluminium fan blades have almost been replaced by FRP fans which are energy efficient. Thus the latest cooling tower incorporates the cost effective and energy efficient materials. Besides ensuring maintenance free and trouble free operation most of the materials which are being incorporated presently are corrosion resistant, thereby assuring a longer life for the cooling tower.

He has developed fluidised bed cooling tower under a sponsored Indo-German project and commercialised it in the Indian market. He is supported by a team of highly qualified and experienced professionals.

ESL today is approved by major consultants/OEMs/EPC contractors for power plants such as M/s M.N.Dastur and Co., Tata Consulting Engineers, Fichtner Consultants, Desein, Dalal Consultants, BHEL, ABB, DLF Industries Ltd., Korea Heavy Industries and Construction Co.Ltd. etc. ESL has got the backing of a world renowned cooling technologist Mr.Marcal R.Lefevra of M/s MRL Corporation USA for large cooling towers, who has designed and commissioned many large cooling towers across the world.

ESL has already executed and commissioned many large cooling towers in various areas such as power plants, steel, cement, paper, petro chemical, fertilizer etc. ESL has also exported cooling towers for foreign customers and also been approved by some of the foreign consultants.
