The Mumbai High Court has accepted an offer of Fashionbistro.com to insert a disclaimer on its website that it had nothing to do with the fashion bar and bistro near Sterling theatre in Mumbai. On May 8, 2000, fashion-bistro.com moved court seeking a vacation of the ad-interim injunction. The dotcom held that the name was chosen as it was a generic name descriptive of the business the site was working on.
