The car is slated to roll out in October 1997 and is expected to use a 500 cc petrol engine of Briggs & Stratton.

Arun Firodia, chairman and managing director of Kinetic Engineering, said: It is too early to say whether we will float a separate company for the manufacture of the petrol engines as we are still in the talking stage with Briggs & Stratton.
