The formal agreement between the West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation and Mukund Keventer Consortium for setting up the Kulpi minor port has been postponed. The agreement was scheduled to be signed on January 9 in the midst of the CII partnership meet in the city.

Keventer Agro Ltd director Mahendra Jalan told Business Standard yesterday that since the negotiations are still on, the signing ceremony had to be put off.

Keventer Agro and Mukund Engineering Ltd are the private sector promoters of the minor riverine port at Kulpi.
