Lenovo ThinkPad 13 Workhorse to the hilt

The Lenovo ThinkPad 13 would ensure your work is done, efficiently and comfortably

If there’s one product that has stood the test of time among its users, it is the ThinkPad range. Yes, they can look dowdy and boring when compared with the sleek all-in-all notebooks of rivals, but the ThinkPad badge means a solid, dependable workhorse.
 

Thus, I felt reassured seeing the familiar ThinkPad logo, the all-black sturdy body and the matte 13-inch screen on the Lenovo ThinkPad 13 (Rs 62,000). Running on Windows 10 Pro, the ThinkPad booted up fast due to the 192GB SSD. I set up the fingerprint scanner next and was soon installing essential apps. 

Next, I fired up the browser and opened some 23 tabs, one of which was Netflix, and watched a couple of episodes of The Blacklist. Using my high-speed 5 Ghz home network, streaming was a cinch.

The 8GB RAM ensured there were no hiccups. Next, I started typing the review on the ThinkPad and soon had my fingers flying over the keyboard. The touchpad wasn’t the best I had used, but I was happy returning to the TrackPoint. Extended periods of typing didn’t leave my hands sore. There are multiple connectivity options, including a USB Type-C port and a full-sized HDMI port.  

The battery took a couple of hours to charge, but the ThinkPad didn’t let me down for nearly six hours, with copious amounts of videos being watched on Netflix and Amazon Prime.

The Lenovo ThinkPad 13 won’t win any beauty contest. But it would ensure your work is done, efficiently and comfortably.
