The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) will retrospectively regulate on the terms and conditions of the licence agreement signed by the private operators of various value-added services (VAS), chairman of the authority Justice S S Sodhi said here yesterday.
Citing the Trai Act, he said one of the functions of the authority was to recommend the terms and conditions of licence to a service provider while also ensuring compliance of terms and conditions of the licence.
He, however, lamented the delay in concrete suggestions from the industry on interconnectivity, which was preventing speedy resolution of disputes.
