Mp Surcharge

The MP government has imposed a five per cent surcharge on commercial tax from July 1 to raise funds for the earthquake victims of Jabalpur. The surcharge would be payable on commercial tax levied on goods from July 1 to March 31, 1999. However, the surcharge would not be payable on declared goods.
