Olympic app to be boon for fans

The Rio Olympics organisers have launched a mobile app that allows fans to follow the competition results and check out the details of their favourite disciplines in real time, at the touch of a button.

From details about all the 37 Games venues, to maps and schedule and trivia, the app comes loaded with all the information a visitor to Olympics will want.

Available in multiple languages including Portuguese, Spanish, French, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese and of course English, the app has the most up-to-date information on the schedule and results, medals, sports, athletes and teams, venues, maps and spectators guides.
